The types of therapy I use are Solution Focused, Trauma Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, while always providing Unconditional Positive Regard throughout interactions with clients as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
In over 15 years, I have helped thousands of people as a counselor and a social worker. I attended the University of Tennessee for over 6 years, primarily studying social work at the graduate level, completing a Master's of Science degree and all but dissertation (abd) in the Social Work PhD (doctoral) program. I decided teaching and research are not my passion. I enjoy serving others and watching growth and change occur. I have also worked advising other therapists on clinical treatment needs at a community mental health center for over 3 years. I stand apart and I do not have preconceived notions about the individual I am serving, as no two people or two situations are alike.
Worksheets and references are provided to assist in the process of change, completed following sessions and to provide something real to refer to in your change process. Work is done within sessions, but the true tests are the thinking and practicing outside of our counseling sessions. I will be with you along the way, figuratively, in your heart and mind, but the true work can only be done by you.
I have worked extensively with people that have substance abuse struggles, parenting and relationship issues, and mental health difficulties (specifically trauma, bipolar, schizophrenia, anxiety and depression). I have worked with individuals, young and old, navigating concerns with their sexuality and gender identity. Please note that my first method of great service is to establish a totally judgment-free zone. I work to serve others and am here to serve your unique concerns and needs. You are seeking help for a reason, a change must be in order. Let's create a picture of what your ideal life would be and develop a plan together to journey to that place.

I really enjoyed engaging in therapy via text with Celeste. She is direct and honest and this is crucial for me in achieving what I wanted; clarity. I worked with Celeste for one month with the intention of gaining some clarification on a specific personal relationship issue. It worked. Thanks Celeste; being straight up is an invaluable trait. Be peaceful!
Celeste has helped tremendously in the last three months to allow me to remain centered in myself and be able to respond to any situation rather than react to everyone around me. I feel in control of myself and so connected.
Celeste is awesome, she really listens and can help identify my blocks. She remembers things and understands me and provides me with resources to understand myself better and to help me with my goals. Thank you Celeste!
I personally requested to have Celeste back I absolutely adore her! She is amazing!!!!
A wonderfully understanding and supportive person. I didn’t originally know why I needed counseling again. After a few sessions and working through my needs, Celeste has been a huge help in my mental and emotional health. Things will and do get better and Celeste is wonderful to help you.
She is good with me! They paired ne with a great listener! She offered great advice that i use daily.
Very satisfied and enjoy speaking with her
Compatibility w your counselor is key. And I think mine is very compatible with me. I’m glad we found each other. She knows her stuff.
I can’t thank Celeste enough for all the support and advice she has given me. She completely understands my needs and supports me through all the processes I go through. When I speak to Celeste I feel really connected to her, she is very straight talking, this is something I much appreciate, but also she is a very caring person. She has helped me massively with my mental health and has provided me with many good resources to help me with this.
I would highly recommend Celeste to anyone.
