About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Northern California with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Humboldt State with an emphasis on rural and Native communities. I have worked with a variety of populations including incarcerated youth, unhoused families, children in foster care, adults with chronic illnesses, people that are immigrants or undocumented, people learning about their gender, people figuring out how to have healthy relationships and sexuality. I provide trauma-informed services within a Feminist perspective. I use pronouns she/her.

I can offer appts Mondays and Thursdays, and can provide short-term therapy, solution-focused. My approach is client-centered and based in empowerment through education with psychoeducation. I also enjoy expressive arts therapeutic interventions and addressing somatic concerns with mindfulness. Narrative therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques are used in my work. The Recovery Model of Care has a focus on helping build natural supports and is holistic: includes mind, body, spirit and community. It includes building on people's strengths and the idea of continual growth through empowerment.

I believe that the individual knows themself best and my role is to use my knowledge and privilege to help guide the individual to a better place, connecting the dots or acting as a mirror to reflect.

I know it takes courage to ask for help, and I believe in validating this effort, and working with people where they are in the cycle of change. I work on this site part-time and may not be able to respond rapidly on certain days. Please consider your level of need and my availability for best fit.

It would be wonderful to meet with you and support you in your healing journey.
