About me

I have been a clinical therapist for the last 18 years, licensed as a clinical mental health therapist, addiction specialist, and trauma specialist. I have done about every form of therapy, but I specialize in helping individuals making the changes they desire in their life, resolving trauma, negative self cognitions, changing perceptions that interfere with functioning, couples/family therapy, and resolving anxiety and depressive disorders. I'm a big believer that our experiences and perceptions dictate how we function in the world and that prevents us from getting what we want out of life. If we can change our perceptions and the cognitive narrative of toxic past experiences, we can liberate ourselves to move freely through the world without fear or negative self beliefs, thereby allowing you to get what you want from your life.

Adam is a wonderful counselor. He really gets to the heart of what's bothering you and gives a direct path of how to overcome it. He is direct enough to find root problems easily and calm enough to help you feel okay while pushing through them. His no-nonsense approach really helped me find the steps I wasn't taking for my mental health and allowed me to move forward in my life. Adam works hard for his clients. I would recommend him highly.

I’ve had my best experience in therapy so far working with Adam this far. His nonjudgmental and kind demeanor, professionalism, and experience put me at ease. He quickly adapted a plan based on our conversations and his confidence gave me confidence. I’m genuinely hopeful that my life doesn’t have to spent seesawing between depression and anxiety. Homeostasis, which always felt out of reach, finally seems possible.
