Adeline Clark
About me
Hi my name is Adeline Barillas Clark but I go by Addy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas. I earned my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in May of 2009 and received a Postmaster’s Certificate in Counseling At-Risk Youth in 2010 from Johns Hopkins University. I have been a clinician for the past 11 years working at local non-profit agencies and school-based counseling programs.
I have worked with young adults and teenage clients over coming PTSD, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and life changes. I draw on cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, and client- center therapy in my practice. I believe in providing a warm, compassionate listening ear for my clients and helping to promote their confidence.
I believe the most important part of therapy is your relationship with your therapist and that every person I work with deserves a therapist that they feel safe, respected, and understood with. I will work with you to determine what you would like to work towards, what your needs are, and what strengths you have. Our treatment plan will be centered around all of these things and will be custom-tailored to you.
I hope you will allow me to be your therapist so that we can work together to get you where you want to be.
