I am a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addictions Counselor with over 15 years of experience. This is my second career and my passion. I have the honor, and privilege, of providing mental health services to young adults, adults, families, and couples, as well as working with children from 4-12 years of age. I provide counseling for a wide range of concerns including, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, anger, domestic violence, and parenting.
My counseling style focuses primarily on empowering clients to lead better lives, and in so doing, treat them with respect and dignity under a safe, supportive, encouraging, and warm space. My role as a therapist is to guide, advocate, advice, and educate those in need as they find their voices and healthier lifestyles, meeting them where they are at – believing that clients are the experts of their lives.
I strive to establish rapport through understanding, honesty, and positive regard towards the individual while applying person-centered, person-in-environment theoretical orientations, and motivational interviewing. I use an integrated approach, based on the client’s needs through the course of therapy, established on client-therapist collaborative treatment plan development. This plan might integrate a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, meditation skills, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance commitment therapy, grounded on the client’s preferences and needs.
You are here, you have taken the first courageous step on the path to building a healthier, responsible, joyful life. I believe I could help you to succeed in this journey.
I look forward to working with you.

Me gusto sus consejos cuando le mando un mensaje me contesta .volvería a ser mi terapeuta más adelante cuando la vuelva a necesitarla muy buen elemento gracias
Adriana is a knowledge and nonjudgmental therapist. I felt like was talking to a close friend rather than a counselor. She went out of her way to give me resources and tools to get me through a very dark time in my life. She helped me realize that I have the power within myself to change and see the light at the end of the tunnel.
She's my favorite. Even on the days I just stare at her and don't want to say a word, she's there for me. I just appreciate her energy a whole lot, and glad she got chosen to be my counselor!
Adriana is so great to work with. During my time being counseled by her, she took the time to listen to me, check in with me, and follow up with wonderful tools to help me along the way. I truly feel like I’m in a better headspace because of the help she provided me and the encouragement she gave me in my journey.
Adriana is excellent!
I appreciate Adriana’s quick responses and her approach. She clearly listens and hears my problems as she follows up with links and videos that resonate with dealing with severe anxiety and depression . I’ve been in therapy on and off my entire life, and because she genuinely asks and tries to get to know her patient’s preferences of therapy style, she knows that I need to have homework and to be held accountable to meet my goals. It is amazing to have the accessibility to communicate with her between appointments vs bottling the millions of thoughts and feelings I have until the next session and have either dealt with them appropriately (or not) and is prompt at responding with my tools and conversation in real time.
Adriana is a compassionate and knowledgeable therapist. The skills she has taught me to manage my anxiety have honestly been life changing. Her holistic approach has taught me strategies to not only manage my anxiety in the moment, but to make habitual lifestyle changes that have helped to dramatically reduce the frequency and intensity of my panic attacks. I highly recommend her services.
If you are looking for a refreshing and straightforward perspective on life and approach to your problems, Adriana is your person!
Throughout our time together, Adriana always was offering great advice and points to think of when dealing with specific situations.
She was able quick to respond and provided me with a lot of additional resources like articles to read or podcasts to listen to and learn even more.
I feel very confident with my new approach to how to solve problems. Couldn’t do this without Adriana’s help.
She has been amazing so far. She has helped me to see things in a more positive light and I am grateful for that. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a great therapist.
Adriana's style of approach is fantastic," Patience while listening ", able to capture the client's requirements.
