So many people go through mental health struggles each day. Not everyone has an easy time finding the strength to talk about what is going on in their lives. I know from personal experience that mental health issues such as depression and anxiety can take a toll on you. Both my father and my grandmother suffered from mental health issues that made it difficult for them to get through everyday life.
Being able to spread accurate information about mental health & wellness is very important to me. The preconceived notions that many people have about those suffering from depression or other conditions can be changed by being allowed to look at things from the proper perspective. People who are suffering from mental health struggles need to know that they are not alone and that there are others who care. I contribute in order to do my part to spread information and to reach out to those who need support.
