Samantha Dewitt has been a writing and editing expert for over seven years; with experience in a wide range of health, self-help, family and business related topics. She is currently a writer with BetterHelp.com/advice, a company working toward the growth of mental health resources through an online medium. Her dedication to health and wellness, in the physical, emotional and psychological sense, inspire her to help others gain the knowledge they need to grow.
As a writer for topics related to all areas of learning, Samantha has written on topics from anxiety, phobias, and grief to content marketing and self-improvement. She continues to seek out the latest opportunities and research within her field at every turn to make sure she can bring knowledge to her readers. This she aims to do in a way that can not only inform them but also keep them constantly seeking to better themselves and the world around them. There is a great deal out there still to learn for everyone, and she looks for ways to learn and share as much information as she can.
Prior to becoming a freelance writer, she worked in a law office and human resources. Throughout her time in these areas, she learned more about helping others and about pushing the boundaries that she set for herself. Her decision to enter into freelancing was based on a desire to seek new ways to support her family and to counter her own battles with social anxiety, which she is still working on to this day.

“My Philosophy on Mental Health & Wellness”
Being healthy is about a whole lot more than just being physically strong and even eating properly. There is only so much that looking a certain way can do for you when you’re struggling. It’s about feeling good about yourself and the world around you and that’s where mental health plays such an important role. I seek to push others towards getting the help that they need in order to not just survive but to thrive within their life. Everyone deserves to enjoy their time and experiences with family and friends and even work and the day-to-day. I hope to help remove the stigma associated with mental health and to encourage others to get the help that they need and that they deserve in order to get back to living the life they want for themselves.
