My name is Aeriale Bias, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana. I have over 9 years of experience working in various settings including outpatient mental health agencies, conducting evaluations in nursing homes, private practice, as well as in detention centers. I am also a Certified Complex Trauma Professional. I got this certification as I wanted to gain as much knowledge and competency when working with individuals who have experienced trauma.
I enjoy the process of helping others work through their struggles as I realize the importance of having a genuine, compassionate, non-judgmental person to talk to. I've done work with many individuals, families and couples to help identify and resolve many personal issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, family problems, trauma, stress, etc.
I aim to meet each individual where they are and help build their confidence so that they could make the necessary changes in their lives. Change is hard and it takes courage, and you seeking therapy is the first step. For that, I am extremely proud of you!
