I am a Clinical Counselor licensed in Montana since 2014, and have over 20 years of experience helping people achieve their potential and deal with everyday stress, traumatic, stress, and other obstacle that may stand in their way. I have done this as a teacher, then as a coach, and since 2007 as a psychotherapist. My approach is strength based, collaborative, and individualized. I am trained and use different modalities of psychotherapy depending on your needs and objectives. I have helped people with a range of challenges from life transitions to childhood abuse, from individual to relational difficulties.
My counseling style is authentic and warm. I believe people adapt to life challenges in the best possible way they can, according to their resources. What may have been helpful at one stage in life may hinder further development at another. What is not addressed because of lack of resources at one point in time may become a symptom at another. My theoretical background is Jungian oriented psychotherapy, but I use tools from different modalities like cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, Gestalt, body centered, mindfulness, and EMDR therapy depending on your objectives, personality, and needs.
