About Me
Ever since I was 12 years old I knew that I had a passion for helping people. I started working in a daycare, moved to school settings, and continued moving up from there. I have over 17 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field. I have been fully licensed for 3 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree and a double major in Psychology and Addiction Studies from Alverno College in 2007. In 2010, I received my Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling with a minor in Addiction Studies. I'm originally from Wisconsin but I've been in Tucson for over 2 years. I have my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Wisconsin and Arizona. I also have my CSAC (Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor) in Wisconsin as well.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I've worked in a lot of settings including; online, inpatient, outpatient, residential, in-home, in the community, comprehensive treatment centers, corrections, and schools providing mental health therapy, addiction counseling, parenting skills, daily living skills, and anger management. I've facilitated groups, worked with couples, families, and 1 on 1 therapy. I incorporate several methods including; EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. You've taken that courageous first step, you're here. When you are ready to take the next step, click the "Work with me" link.
I look forward to supporting and empowering you!

Aisha is very attentive to and supportive of my specific psychological goals and needs. She offers a variety of tools to help navigate my headspace and life.
Aisha is the best counselor I've ever had !
she’s great :)
My counselor rocks my world and guides me through life. I adore her.
Aisha is incredible! I was ready to give up on therapy around the time covid hit, but Aisha made me want to keep going because she was like a friend that I could talk to about anything, that had sage advice to offer in return.
LOVE aisha. through and through.
Thank you for checking in on me and providing insight that is truly helpful. I don’t feel alone in this world because of you...often.
Love her!
Fantastic! So full of life but not in that fake therapist way. More like, she’s got it figured out. But she still has been there. You can tell that she gets your struggle and has fought through her own mind. Or at least, she makes u feel like she has, and that’s enough. She helps so much.
I've been working with Aisha for about 5 or 6 months now and she's truly amazing! I feel completely vulnerable, comfortable, and respected with her. I feel like she listens and gives professional advice with my problems. This is the best investment I could have made for myself.
Aisha is such a supportive and kind person. I enjoy speaking to her regularly, she always improve my mood
Aisha is an excellent counselor. She has a wonderful ability to connect even across online services. Her warmth and guidance are palpable as she counsels you and holds you accountable on your path to healing.
Aisha is understanding and empathic to my situation. She has been guiding me in ways to help me understand my situation and ways that I can heal from it. I look forward to her help and guidance, ongoing.
I really like her and she is working hard to understand my life. She challenges me but in a supportive and encouraging way.
Awesome Therapist!
Aisha is excellent at understanding from a holistic level. She helps me to be the best me.
She’s great!
She’s really great. I’ve only had one video session with her and in that 30 minute session, she helped me with something that’s bugged me since childhood! Wow!
Shes very kind. Shes very understanding. She offers solutions. She is helping me reach my goals.
Aisha is the BEST! She is a great listener, but also offers support. I am grateful for her in my life.
Aisha is a warm, kind, and supporting therapist who is ready to listen and cheers your efforts on. I felt immediately comfortable talking to her, and the live sessions are not only enlightening but genuinely enjoyable.
Aisha has been a constant source of support and understanding during one of the most stressful times of my life. She is responsive, engaging and helps me understand my body, my personality and my habits better to adequately manage my stress.
She is amazing! Always there when I need her
One of the most kind hearted counselors I've ever met!
I always feel comfortable talking with Aisha. Her laid back demeanor allows me to calm down and assess the situation in a rational and understanding way. She is a great therapist that I would recommend to anyone.
Aisha seems very kind and understanding and has been very happy and uplifting for both of our sessions, she gives me worksheet to do after our session which are very practical!
She has been by my side and checking up on me on a good basis! She rocks!
She is patient, guides with no judgement and helps me through my issues in logical thoughtful manner.
Aisha is genuine and helpful.
I am extremely happy with Aisha and the service. Its exactly what I needed.
I had been seeing a lot of ads on youtube and was hesitant to give it a try but I'm glad I did. Aisha is perfect for helping me get through my anxiety, depression, etc. She responds very quickly and has sent me videos explaining different ways to help calm me down during a panic attack. She tailors counseling to my needs and not her own.
She truly cares and has such a good nature. We click very well and have fun with it. I would definitely recommend her.
Aisha is super supportive and a very sound voice of logic when you are looking for unbiased input.
Aisha is incredible, she’s kind, understanding and she takes the time to really try to connect with the root of your problems, and actively try to find solutions and work towards self improvement. I didn’t think I would be blessed with a great counselor, but I got something even better, one who cares and really puts in the extra effort. I am undyingly grateful that she continues to make sure I am okay.
Aisha is amazing. This is my first experience with counseling of any kind has been EXACTLY what I hoped for. Aisha is genuine and engaged while offering guidance where needed and NOT just telling you what you want to hear. I'm so glad she was assigned to me, I like her as a human being and as a therapist, I think she really cares about helping me on my journey to my best self and that feels really good.
I really appreciate all the questions Aisha has for me that help me search my feelings and help me to plan my next steps.
I love how quick Aisha is to respond, and if I don’t message for a couple of days she’ll check up on me.
Aisha is wonderful. I’m incredibly picky when it comes to finding a therapist to work with. Aisha is someone who is easy to talk to, holds me accountable for my actions, makes me think and challenges me. I will continue to use her for therapy and would strongly recommend her to anyone who appreciates a good listener and may have had trouble finding a good fit with other therapists.
Ms. Aisha is helpful, honest and upfront with me. I love my counselor, she is taking baby steps with me, and I greatly appreciate her.
Aisha is very nice.
Aisha has been great in offering insights and tools to help me understand and overcome the issues in my life. Knowing that I can rationalize my emotions and thoughts gave me hope that I am able to resolve these negative states. I highly recommend Aisha!
I feel comfortable speaking to Aisha. To me that's the most important thing they can do is make you comfortable.
Aisha had instilled a lot of confidence in me. She always reminds me that I am strong, and smart, and she tells me she is proud of me. That is so important. She really listens and responds. She's not the "fixer" type, which is amazing. Anyone with anxiety and depression never wants to be looked at as "broken" and since talking with Aisha, I know she doesn't think of me as broken. It's great to have someone to talk to, but it's even better when they aren't trying to fix you.
Aisha is very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and an excellent listener. I was nervous about using the service but my time with Aisha had put my mind at ease.
