About me

Have you felt sad, lonely or unheard? Do you experience feelings of nervousness or even panic? Are you struggling with important decisions in your life or feel overwhelmed? If life is handing you more than you can manage by yourself, it’s time to reach out for help. I can walk alongside you in the journey of facing all of life’s challenges.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan with over 15 years of experience working in helping professions. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling. I have experience working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, and personality disorders.

Counseling is a joint effort, which cannot be successful without your hard work, energy and courage. There are many reasons people seek counseling; regardless of the reasons, I believe an enhanced sense of self understanding and acceptance is essential in all situations (this includes understanding how past experiences have shaped the way we view ourselves, as well as how we understand relating to others). Therapy provides a safe place to explore reactions, thoughts, and feelings about people in your life as well as yourself. My primary theoretical approach is eclectic with aspects of Person- Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution-Focused Therapy. The inclusion of other frameworks is individualized based on your need.

I consider it an honor to support individuals on their personal journeys toward: inner peace, mindfulness, effective communication, deeper relationships, self-awareness and contentment. You have already taken the first step to a transformational change in your life. If you are ready to take the next pivotal step, I am here to support the journey to a better you.

I look forward to working with you.
