Dr Alan is very professional and concerned for my well-being. He has allowed me to open up in ways that I never have before. He definitely an overall great person. In times like this you need someone who is genuine. Dr Alan is definitely that person.

I’ve had a lot of negative experiences with therapists, but none have helped me and given the kind of advice that Alan has been able give. Alan is the first therapist I’ve had that has given me useful advice along with a good attitude and understanding to my needs. It feels so good to have a therapist that can give me useful advice and help guide me in ways I couldn’t before whereas other therapists I’ve dealt with try to tell me things about myself that I already know.

What I appreciate most is that Alan is straight to the point. He doesn’t beat around the bush and he doesn’t waste my time. He’s upfront, direct, and helps get down to the root of the problem. He gives good advice, and book recommendations. He has helped me greatly.

Alan has been awesome to work with. His involvement with the LGBTQ+ community makes it easy to speak freely and openly without judgement or skepticism. He is an active listener and is not timid to dig to the root of the discussion or problem. Alan challenges our assumptions, preconceptions, and the beliefs we tell ourselves – yet always offers solid insight, advice, and tools to help work through the situation. Should I need help in the future, Alan is to whom I will turn.

Alan has been REALLY helpful in helping me see the better way forward and not react to the initial ‘emotional’ response, but to think and use my ‘adult’ brain.
