About me

Well done on taking the first steps to a better you! Often, simply acknowledging you need support and reaching out can be the most difficult yet empowering part of the process to a happier you. As a clinician my goal is to facilitate a safe space for clients to verbalize thoughts and feelings in a nonjudgmental space. I provide a holistic approach that assess overall physical health and its impact on mental health; looking at sleep patterns, nutrition, and social relationships. Utilizing a variety of different clinical modalities, I work alongside my client’s to aid them in identifying maladaptive patterns that may interfere with progress. Applying a strength-based approach I coach clients in self-care practices that empower them to build a happier way of life.
I have a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC) and have been providing mental health services to children, adolescents and families in English and Spanish since 2009. I am certified in the following evidence based practices: TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and MAP (Managing and Adapting Practices) . I have experience providing clinical care to diverse families addressing issues related to trauma/abuse (physical, sexual, emotional, neglect, etc), crisis intervention, family separation, violence, cultural barriers, depression/suicideality, anxiety, depression, generational trauma, oppositional behaviors, ADHD and much more.
