I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor Associate with over 5 years of therapeutic experience and 11 years in the field of human service altogether. I began my career working as a Nurse’s Assistant whose primary task was to care for and provide companionship to long-term, geriatric residents in a nursing facility. Since then, I began my clinical career by providing case management services to homeless veterans while obtaining my bachelors and masters degrees. Following my master’s degree, I provided in-home therapy to children and families, worked as a school therapist, and provided drug and alcohol counseling to individuals battling substance abuse. I am now the clinical supervisor of a 70-bed, inpatient, detoxification unit.
I have an array of experience and have grown tremendously, professionally and personally. However, despite my career background, I take pride in being a human just like you! I am extremely down-to-earth and carry a genuine passion for the well-being of others.
It takes immense courage to reach out and ask for help. I believe mental wellness is one of the most important gifts you can give to yourself. I am ready whenever you are to begin your next chapter of growth and empowerment.
