About me
Aleshia specializes in working with clients who have experienced a history of trauma. Aleshia feels privileged to accompany people on their journey toward growth and healing. She is passionate about working with those suffering from PTSD, various forms of trauma, and other disturbing events. Aleshia obtained a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis Graduate Certificate in Grief and Trauma. She works with diverse populations and employs a collaborative, caring, and nonjudgemental approach that inherently supports a strong therapeutic relationship with clients.
Aleshia is passionate about helping people overcome challenges and reach their full potential. She specializes in EMDR and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and also utilizes other evidenced based treatment modalities. She has experience working with military veterans, first responders, refugees, and survivors of various forms of trauma.
