About Me

Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking a few moments to read about me. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Montana. I have over 7 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with varying backgrounds. The majority of my experience is working with depression, anxiety, trauma, parent-child relationships, couples work and self-esteem.

Reaching out for help is the most important step towards your path to healing and wholeness. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches that incorporate cognitive-behavioral and solution focused techniques. The most important aspect of my work with you will be to build a positive, trusting therapeutic relationship in which we can together work through whatever difficulties you may be facing. I believe in setting collaborative goals with my clients to help them with their areas of need, while also empowering them to use their strengths to overcome difficulties.

Whether you feel completely overwhelmed by life or are just looking for some support , things can get better as long as you are willing to take that first step towards getting help! There is always hope. Sometimes you just have to dig deep to find it. I look forward to working with you!

Alex is a very nice counselor. She helps you work through you thoughts/feelings by asking questions when you can't seem to work your head around things. She also checks up on you and sends pertinent articles and worksheets. I have not had many sessions, but I have noticed some small differences in my thought processes already.

Alex appears to be highly trained and professional. She's easy to talk to. She asks pertinent questions, so far so good!
