About Me
My name is Alexander J. Kranz. I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1991. I am a licensed mental health therapist practicing in Palm Beach County, Florida. I have been seeing clients for over 5 years in private practice. I specialize in integrative individual and couples therapy for the mind and body. My perspective on therapy starts with the central belief that if you listen to your clients, they will always tell you what's going on. While that may seem very basic, unfortunately, there is very little listening going on these days. When we are listened to and are unconditionally respected and accepted, we instinctively have the right stuff inside of us to figure out our issues. That is how we grow. Helping you find that inner strength and resolve is what makes me uniquely qualified to help.
I provide therapy interventions for depression, anxiety and trauma. I focus on developing client communication skills, resolve-training and building inner strength. By addressing sabotaging thoughts and damaging behaviors, I help my clients gain the strength and self-knowledge they need to rebuild their lives.
My style of therapy is honest, warm and personal. I truly believe that if you listen, the client will tell you exactly what is going on his or her life. Together, we can jointly come up with goals and solutions that are going to work for you. I will treat you with sensitivity, respect, and warmth by getting to know you as a unique individual. I like to use solution-focused therapy, family systems theory, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. By getting to know you, we can figure out which type of counseling is going to be most beneficial to you.
Seeking therapy is not an easy decision to make, and I want to commend you for wanting to create a better life for yourself. I would love to support you and be part of your journey towards the goal of a more fulfilling life. Go to www.kranzcounseling.com for more info.

Mr. Kranz really does care and he does want to help, not just because it’s job. It seems he is genuine with what he does and that is refreshing to say the least I appreciate everything he is doing.
Alex has been instrumental in my mental health journey. His validation of my feelings and his strategies to conquer my anxiety are extremely helpful.
He has let me open up during a difficult time in my life and given me tools to slow things down which helps me to improve my mental health.
Alex is a great listener and gives really good exercises that help form ways to cope and progress outside of the session. I am looking forward to working more in the future!
Alexander’s willingness to listen and understand helped me relax. The advice and tasks that he laid out has put me more at peace.
After my first session with Alexander Kranz, I felt hopeful. He seems sincere, honest, and direct. In just a few minutes, he was able to give me some insight into what I was feeling inside, and I feel like we will eventually get to the root cause of my issues. It's not just a venting session, he also holds me responsible to change my habits and ways of thinking, which is something I need. I am excited for our future sessions so that I can continue to learn more about myself.
