My name is Alexandra Gozzola, Alex please, and I am a LPC currently working on my PhD, meaning I have passion enough for the work to push through three extra years of school! My approach to counseling is taking the abstract feelings we all have that can become a bit much at times, and sort through them a little at a time. This helps us see where we are, identify where we want to go, and figure out how we got to where we are now. Creating tangible ways to see the strength you possess and the obstacles in your way creates a problem/solution model that can be worked through in order to reach your goals.
I am a nerd at heart and love anything pop-culture and film related. I also enjoy coaching youth hockey for my child in an 8 and under league, which can sometimes be akin to herding cats. My family and I love to travel, and we enjoy experiences, especially new food experiences!
I would love to help you on your quest to discover where you want to go, and how to fulfill your needs in a positive way.

Everything has been great!
Alexandra has been a great confidant. I can speak openly and appreciate her feedback.
She’s been incredibly helpful and is always one step ahead of me which historically is very difficult to do.
She is very laid back yet very professional in how she interacts with her clients. She listens attentively and is very introspective as to how she helps me think about the issues and crises that plague me. Very highly recommended.
Alexandra is very insightful and understanding. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to explain all my thoughts and everything I’ve been going through but she was able to work through it with me with ease. She is very accepting and I never got any hint of judgment from her. I felt like she really cared over the past two months that I’ve used this service. She is a very good counselor.
I was able to get long overdue help with my traumas in a way that really worked with my social anxiety and claustrophobia. I don't think I would have gone to therapy if I didn't use Betterhelp.
She is very intuitive and will give you the guidance you need to live a better life.
Alex is great, and very respectful to me. She is a great listener, and really helps me evaluate the seriousness of what I’m feeling.
