Alexandra Lee, LCSW-C
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland. I received my Master of Social Work Degree and Certificate of Gerontology from University of Pittsburgh in 2011. I believe in creating a safe and trusting environment where you can express yourself. Whether you are trying to work through your feelings or mindset on a particular matter; or navigate a difficult relationship or challenging situation: It is possible for you to learn how to do this. By learning how to respond and solutions that work, you can regain hope and a sense of control over your thoughts and feelings. You will be able to create space to connect more with what really matters to you. In addition, you will be able to make meaningful and constructive changes that will help you move forward, reshape your quality of life, and reach greater fulfillment. I would like to hear from you or your family if you are experiencing a variety of problems that could include self-esteem issues, stress, depression, anxiety, or adjustment to a significant life change. Every person has intrinsic goodness and strengths. This combined with helpful skills and strategies that I will provide will support you to achieve your goals. I look forward to helping you throughout your journey!

She is amazing! She takes the time to ask the right questions at the right time to help me understand more

She's thoughtful, perceptive, measured, and always constructive. She is sympathetic, empathetic, but also quite firm in her advice - everything you'd want in a therapist. She listens well and often finds the exact language to describe what you're going through, and she offers practical things to do in response. She never dabbles in psychobabble. Her familiarity with mindfulness and her use of meditative techniques in therapy is really useful. She helps you learn about yourself and the revelations are often surprising and valuable. Needless to say, I recommend her without reservation.
