About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience providing therapeutic services through a combination of psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive theories provided in a relational, person-centered approach. I strive to cultivate a compassionate and comfortable space in which clients can feel safe in navigating the full complexity of life’s stressors.
My prior clinical experience ranges from outpatient to intensive in-home settings. I am credentialed in Connecticut to provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and have been trained in Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC). I also have extensive experience in the treatment of stress, transitions, grief and loss, LGBTQ+-related issues, domestic abuse, and attachment concerns.
As no treatment is “one-size fits all”, I enjoy incorporating various relaxation strategies, distress tolerance and emotional regulation techniques, mindfulness, meditation, and other holistic practices to honor the wants and needs of each individual client. I view my role as a therapist as that of a teammate. In working together, I aim to empower clients to access their own inner strengths and live their best lives.
I look forward to working with you!
