Major life transitions can leave you feeling unsure of who you are or how to move forward. Decisions that once seemed black or white can become muddled. Constantly being reminded of the past may make it seem impossible to navigate your present. It might be unclear if you're on the brink of real change or caught in the same old patterns. It's easy to feel lost and alone if you don't have anyone who can really understand and empathize with your situation.
I offer you the opportunity to explore your full self. We'll work together in this process to acknowledge and accept parts of yourself that you've been told are shameful. Therapy will allow you to experiment with who you can be in a different kind of relationship. We'll identify healthy and effective ways to address old wounds and move on to new challenges.
I initially became interested in being a mental health counselor by volunteering on a Rape Crisis Hotline. I found it very fulfilling to offer empathy and support to everyone who called, regardless of their age, gender, or sexual orientation; I stayed on the hotline for 6 years, and I helped train and support new volunteers. After I got my masters, I worked at a community mental health center serving low-income families in Greater Boston. This gave me the chance to work with a very diverse group of clients with a diverse set of mental health concerns. I currently divide my time between this community work, my private practice and BetterHelp.

I've learned more about myself and interestingly, therapy - with Alice than I have with any other counselor. I am very grateful for everything she's given me.
It’s been great working through my issues with Alice, she is great in listening and pushing me to explore about my self and understand my self this way I know what’s coming.
I am incredibly grateful to Alice for helping me with my grief, my anxieties and family dynamics. She has helped me develop my mental health strategies and coping mechanisms, set measurable goals and has always treated me with compassion and respect. I have seen a tremendous improvement in my mental health over the last 5-6 months since I have started to see her for 1-1, talk therapy sessions and I recommend BetterHelp-style, remote therapy sessions!
I love Alice. She listens to my needs and helps me in every way possible. Whenever I am in need of help she is there.
I am very happy with the work we have done so far
Alice is amazingly patient (trust me on this one) and beyond accommodating if you're not so good at verbalizing (again you'll have to just trust me). And on that same note, Alice is very trustworthy so, trust her.
Alice is kind, open, non-judgmental, supportive, and sharp as a whip. She gently guides me to explore questions and ideas without pushing. She listens closely and frequently makes bold observations that make my mind explode.
Alice was a lovely therapist and helped me work through a major trauma and and helped prepare me for a major life transition. She always made sure I was safe and helped me make plans for the near and immediate future and made sure I felt comfortable before ending a call. She helped my partner and I feel comfortable moving apart and made it much easier for me to move to another country. I am discontinuing to begin face to face counselling in my new city but I would recommend Alice to anyone.
Alice is a gentle and compassionate counselor who listens intently and respectfully. She is excellent at clarifying one's thoughts and feelings and coming up with action steps to help one move forward. I would highly recommend working with her and using the BetterHelp platform.
