Alicia Ciccone

About Me

My name is Alicia and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California, Ohio and New Mexico. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings from schools, juvenile detention facilities, drug and alcohol treatment centers, outpatient mental health hospitals, and military installations. I look forward to expanding my work experience to serving clients from the comfort of my home via tele-therapy.

I have spent a large part of my career working with both adolescents and adults battling addictive behaviors and helping them to regain their power to achieve a healthier, happier life they deserve for themselves and for the people they love. Another one of my specialties is serving the military population. I have worked for the past several years as a therapist contracted to work with service members and their families and it has been an absolute honor to help those who work to keep our country safe every day.

While I do enjoy engaging in traditional talk-therapy, I have found that by providing my clients with something tangible to work on helps to instill whatever the topic may be. I pride myself on trying to incorporate interactive activities into each session that make the experience more meaningful.

I look forward to getting to know you and helping you to achieve your goals!

Written by J.E. on Jul 19, 2020 after counseling with Alicia for 4 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, and addictions

I have been working with Alicia for a month now on my issues with anxiety. I wasn't sure if therapy would be right for me, but I was at a point where I would try anything. First of all - the matching process on this site is almost scary good. She is an absolute perfect fit for me. She understands me, and we share similar interests, which I think helps her provide me with more specific and personal methods of working through my issues. She is always super responsive, even when moving cross country, and her responses are clearly well thought out. I know she reads my journal entries (and I write a lot of them) because her responses always include specifics from my entries. Her methodology in treating my anxiety is so perfect and specific for me, and the best part of it all? It WORKS. I am in such a great head space today than I was a month ago. I plan on continuing to work with Alicia for at least another month because I have just so much enjoyed working with her, and I am loving the results. Thank you so much for everything you do! She is a ROCKSTAR.
