Your health is crucial to your survival and important to those who rely upon you. Mental health is real and solutions are attainable. You may be experiencing something completely new or maybe what bothers you has grown into something more than you feel you can readily handle on your own. Perhaps you’ve made great strides but could use some support with what is presently happening in your life. You owe it to yourself, and those who depend upon you, to make the most of your life. There really is only one you and I believe that you can make your life better.
It may not be easy. Cognitive behavioral therapy can be a useful tool in guiding a new outlook on life. My specialty areas are anxiety, depression, grief and loss, survivors of assault and adult survivors of childhood abuse. I also work with people experiencing behavioral health issues related to medical condition(s). Therapy with me would involve safety, building your strengths and slowly using those skills in the real world. Right now, you may not feel that you can get there. That will be my role to support you in your journey.
A bit about me so you know:
• I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). This means I graduated with a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited university, spent two years post-
graduate in practice with supervision, oversight and learning. I keep up to date with current practices through continuing education throughout the year.
• My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science with a double major in social work and psychology and an additional focus in gerontology
• I’ve got 30 years’ experience working with people in medical settings, non-profit settings, with treatment teams, groups and directly with a single person in the room
allowing me the privileged position of serving as their guide until their strength was strong.
Reach out to me about possible weekend appointment availability. We can make that happen.

What a kind soul! I can’t say enough about Ali and her tenderness when it came to our sessions. She was honest about what she saw and she offered specific things for me to try on my own time.
She’s has been extremely helpful and validated my feelings.
She's been kind and gentle in helping me focus on the important things.
Ali always makes me feel listened to and supported. I am so glad to have her to talk to!
It is wonderful to have a counselor that is helpful and supportive.
Ali is amazing. I have gone through so many different therapists, both in person and online, and she is probably the first that I've felt really cares about me and my well-being.
Ali is amazing and very experienced at her job, she shoots from the hip and keeps me working hard in my own recovery with a lot of self reflection and suggestions for books and work books to read. I have made rapid progress with her experience in my needs and wants.
She immediately made me feel heard and was incredibly professional. I enjoy her counsel. She is great in her role!
She's great and silky like me and she understands
Ali is a tremendous listener and goes out of her way to provide various helpful/progressive tips for betterment.
I highly recommend Ali Jackson for your therapy needs. I was going through a tough breakup and Ali helped me to navigate this tricky time. I trust her judgement on how to handle intense family situations and her guidance was so valuable to me on this one. Thanks Ali!
Ali is great! Super easy to talk to and gives actual helpful advice and really listens.
Thank you for checking in on me, even after our sessions. It shows me you truly care, and brings me comfort someone out there is concerned for my well-being. I know you don't have to do so, which makes your check-ins very special to me. Thank you, Ali. I appreciate you so much.
So far she is amazing and listens to what I am looking for!
