In a time when life can seem uncertain and confusing, having someone to connect with to converse about personal struggles and fear of the unknown can make life easier to manage.

Alicia VanBeverhoudt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, families and individuals as an agent of support and guidance. Her professional philosophy is to provide a sense of hope to those in need of a listening ear and non-judgmental attitude. Her ability to connect with individuals quickly provides opportunity for healing to occur over a short period of time and has experience with long-term and brief interventions. Mrs. VanBeverhoudt started a non-profit organization in 2017 called Side By Side Family Mentoring Program to support the children of her nearby community through mentoring girls to be healthy from the inside out.

Mrs. VanBeverhoudt received her BSW in 1999 from Temple University and later pursued a MSW from Widener University in 2005. She is a lifelong learner and decided to complete a post-master's program to increase her clinical expertise. She have experience working with families in their homes and surrounding community with years of experience working in the school system while, collaborating with hospitals and the juvenile justice department.
