My approach is warm and direct and I utilize a tailored approach of cognitive and dialectical behavioral interventions to assist clients struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My background includes work in the medical field, teaching and experience in community mental health, intensive outpatient programs, residential settings, and private practice. I completed my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with honors at Argosy University and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision.

It took me a lot of effort to convince myself to get therapy because I did not want to bring up repressed/suppressed emotions. It has not been easy to discuss things that I had bottled up inside me for several years. But with Alisha, I have found it possible to face this difficult journey. She has been very supportive and has encouraged me to express myself. I am happy I chose therapy and that I have been able to share my experiences with Alisha. Her questions provide new perspectives and different choices to navigate through my problems. She is a wonderful and sincere therapist. I can’t thank her enough. I am extremely grateful.
