Hi, I'm Allison and I'm a licensed psychotherapist practicing in Miami, Florida. Are you a single person in their 20's or 30's who has the tendency to end up with emotionally unavailable people who cannot give you what you truly want? Or are you the member of a recently blended family trying to find ways to build connection and stop arguments between members? Whatever the case may be, I can be there to help guide you. Having healthy relationships is vital to feeling happy in life, but it's it's important to keep in mind the most important relationship is with yourself. Having good self esteem, confidence in your abilities to make wise decisions, and learning work/life/ family/couple balance is important and can feel overwhelming at times.
Being a therapist is truly a gift. I enjoy teaching mindfulness skills and using cognitive behavioral techniques to help clients overcome anxiety and low self esteem. I utilize a holistic approach (mind, body, spirit), as I believe that taking care of nutrition, exercising, and being in touch with a spiritual side have an important impact on mental health. I have been working at a rehab for substance abuse and mental health the past five years, and have a wealth of knowledge about how to overcome addiction. Whether you may be abusing a substance, over working, over eating, or have been struggling with a mood disorder I can help you treat the core issues or symptoms effectively to feel better.
Therapy is a transformative experience, and the benefits from the therapeutic relationship can be lifelong. If you'd like to learn more about me and my therapy methods, feel free to visit my website at www.mindtalkhealing.com . I look forward to speaking with you!

Allison has been great so far! I really enjoy her input and it’s been helpful.
She listens very well and responds in a timely manner. She helps me see things from another perspective.
Allison has been wonderful to work with while I go through my early recovery from addiction.
