I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I earned my Master's Degree at Wake Forest University in 2016 and have been practicing ever since. I specialize in depression, anxiety, adapting to life changes, relationship/marriage counseling, family/parenting issues and kids/teens. I also help people come past traumas including childhood abuse, sexual abuse, death/loss, divorce and many other difficult life circumstances. I employ an empathetic and respectful approach to counseling that emphasizes your strengths and your goals for change.
When you work with me, I want you to feel seen, heard and understood. Using a compassionate, Cognitive Behavioral approach, I will help you identify what areas of life are causing you the most distress, narrow down your therapy goals, build a plan that fits your personality and needs and regularly assess the progress of your therapy to ensure the quality of your treatment.
It can be scary to open up to a stranger. Know that, like you, I have made mistakes in life and have weaknesses and struggles. None of us are perfect! I am not here to judge you or make you feel bad. I am here to listen, understand and empower you to live the life you have been striving to live!

Allison has been a game changer so far. Since our first session I’ve already learned some helpful tools and have been feeling much better having someone to share what’s going on with!
I have only had a few sessions with Allison but she has been extremely helpful! She has listened to me without judgment and has provided resources to help me with the things I have been feeling. She has also helped to validate some of the concerns I have had with issues I have faced in my life. I have really enjoyed speaking with her and do feel like based on the things I have going on I was paired with the perfect person!
Allison is a wonderful counselor. She helped me to regain my lost confidence and get back on track with life. At every session, I felt like I was cared for and being helped. Through multiple sessions and many conversations, she was able to he.p me dig and find the root issues of my problems. I am very grateful for the couple of months that I spent with her.
Allison is great. She listens attentively and is very helpful with solutions.
