Allison Rogers, LISW-CP
About me
Welcome! I'm Allison, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (Clinical Practice) and have been providing counseling for the past 8 years after graduating with my MSW from the University of Pittsburgh. I am passionate about working with clients on their depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and general rough patches in life. It's important to me to use evidenced-based practices in counseling to make the most of your time and try to help you feel better as soon as possible. One model I really like is CBT (but if it isn't a great fit for you, there are others we can try). In a nutshell, CBT is the idea that if we can change our thoughts, we can change how we feel and how we act will change too. I'm confident we can collaborate on a treatment plan to work towards your counseling goal.

Allison was very professional and made my feelings and concerns feel very validated and i felt very safe to express my emotions and feelings in a vulnerable way. I would absolutely recommend Allison as a therapist, you can tell how experienced she is and how much she genuinely wants to help!
