Altreneasha Ervin, LMFT
About me
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the Metro-Atlanta Area that has a passion for aiding mothers, families, millennials, and minorities on their wellness journey. As a minority woman, I know the importance of creating and maintaining a safe space for all of my clients. The great news is, it may not feel like it at the moment, but you already have everything you need to succeed. Let’s work together to break down the barriers that are stopping you from living a more fulfilled life.
My core values are compassion, collaboration, consistency, and accountability (CCCA). By giving empathy and concern to all of my clients, it helps to cultivate a sense of safety where they can relax enough to heal and grow. Collaboration is key, you have to show up for yourself and together we can figure things out. Consistency will ultimately lead to growth. Sessions may be light one day and could be heavy another, but you have to keep doing the work. Keep pushing. I'm a strong believer that therapy alone does not change people but therapy is the catalyst that can lead us to change. After sessions, the work continues. That's you (and your loved ones) implementing what we've learned and discussed.
I have worked as a high school teacher, child welfare case manager, and in-home clinician working closely with children and their families during the most difficult transitions of their lives. I've also served as a Clinician with people who have been chronically homeless for years, many of them having trauma, addictions, depression, and anxiety. In my later years, I have been serving more women as they learn to navigate life. No matter where you are on your life journey, I'm here to help support you. You don't have to do this alone.

One of the BEST counselors especially for anyone who is of color . She’s been by my side through the roughest patches and has been there for every high / low . I’m so glad to have been matched with such a wonderful therapist . I’ve grown so much with her and have practiced / put into action everything she has told me . She is very knowledgeable , friendly and easy to confide in . One of the best ❤️
