Alyse is warm, kind, and empathetic. She asked questions in a way that makes me pause to consider what I really want to say before I answer. After working with her for about a year, my communication skills grew clearer, emotional intelligence increased, and confidence in my self had rebounded.

Alyse has a very calming voice that helps me talk at a calm voice because I can get anxious and start talking loud and excited. She keeps everything we discuss in order so I stay in order. She helps me understand other avenues to talk about things that are bothering me or just trying to help me figure things out. Big hugs to her.

Alyse has been a pleasure to work with. She seems to understand what I’m going through and pays attention to what I’m saying to her. She also notices how I say things to her and gives a different or positive perspective that I find helpful.

Alyse is a fantastic counsellor! This was my first time trying therapy so I was pretty nervous and had no idea what to expect. From our very first session, Alyse gave me some super helpful tips to help deal with my anxiety and gave me a challenge related to my fears. I dedicated myself to completing this challenge and more than a month later am still completing it with Alyse’s support. She is so easy to talk to and very understanding of my concerns, even though sometimes I feel like they are silly things to worry about. In between sessions, Alyse sends me messages to check in on me and my progress and will read my journal entries. I can clearly see a difference in how I deal with my anxiety in the past month and it is such a relief to have some of that burden off my shoulders. I definitely recommend Alyse!
