About Me
My clinical practice utilizes a practical, interactive, solution-focused discipline as a Florida licensed mental health professional with twenty-seven (27) years experience. My treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to assist clients in resolving current problems and long-standing patterns. I always assist my clientele with sensitivity and compassion in reaching solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues.
Blending conventional and alternative approaches, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most beneficial for each client. Additionally, I work with each client, whether individual, couples or families, to assist them in building on their strengths enabling each client in identification and achievement of life goals in individual and group settings.
Moreover, I specialize in Addiction and Domestic Violence, I have been in private practice since 1995 and I have established a Florida Department of Children & Families Certified Outclient Chemical Dependency Clinic, which I supervised and provided clinical services as a Florida DUI Treatment Provider. Furthermore, I have also specialized in Domestic Violence since September 1999, as a Supervisor and Facilitator, to a Florida Certified Batterer Intervention Program (BIP) and I have been qualified on countless occasions as a expert in Domestic Violence.

I really enjoy Alysia as a therapist. She is understanding and easy to talk to, and besides the video sessions, I like how responsive she is through messaging. Highly recommend!
