I worked with Alyson for 6 months on relationship issues, anxiety, family separation, and depression. She helped me become more self-aware and to build positive thoughts patterns that would support a sense of confidence. Not only was she heart warming, but also nonjudgmental to topics I would discuss during our sessions. I am very grateful to have spent my first therapy experience with her and am completing counseling on a stronger foot.

Alyson is fantastic. She is so insightful and is able to help me explore my issues in a productive way. She does this by leading me to realizations but in a way that is very much me getting there, not her pushing me. I cannot tell you how many “ah ha” moments I have had when talking to her. I so enjoy working with her!

I’ve worked with Alyson for 1 month and it was my first time working with a therapist. From when I started, I feel so much better. I was dealing with frustrations in my relationship and I also was constantly stressed and anxious. Alyson showed me ways to communicate better in my relationship and how to work at them. She also helped me with stress management tactics and now I feel really good about how to handle my stress. I feel much less anxious now. Overall I am in a much happier place and obstacles feel like merely obstacles because there’s stress-free ways to tackle life problems. Thank you so much, Alyson!

Alyson Kohl has been wonderful. I'd been to therapy but she was able to supply support, guidance and resources with various issues that I needed to address, basically a plan that will benefit me the rest of my life; it will effect the quality of life for myself, family and even socially. What's been amazing is that I havn't felt judged and I've been able to talk about some personal problems and serious issues but get the step further to overcome them to live a healthier, happier and content life today.
