Alyssa Gonshorowski, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wyoming with 5 years experience working as a counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disturbances, interpersonal issues and self-worth issues. I primarily have worked with adults, of varying cultural and religious backgrounds. I have also helped people who identify as LGBTQIA+ and are dealing with the issues I outlined above.
My therapy style is personable and client-centered. I see myself as a guide to helping clients work on their issues in ways that are manageable and realistic for them. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and psychodynamic therapy orientations. I believe in the effectiveness of dialectical behavioral therapy skills, solution-focused interventions and motivational interviewing. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek out help and to make changes in life. If you are ready to take a step towards making this change, I am here to help guide and support you along your journey.
I look forward to working with you!
