About me

I am licensed in Ohio and Pennsylvania with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, depression, & coping with life changes. I have worked with children as young as 2 years of age and have also worked with teens, young adults and older adults. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I believe in meeting my clients where they are at in their healing process. I enjoy utilizing worksheets, reading, journaling, role playing, and humor to explore emotions and experiences. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Alyssa makes me excited for my future. For the last 10 years, I’ve had a number of therapists. Recently, I wanted a therapy more tailored to my recent ADHD diagnosis. Not only is Alyssa well educated about ADHD but she seems to actually UNDERSTAND what I’m trying to explain. Alyssa takes the time to actively reach out to me if she hasn’t heard from me. She holds me accountable but isn’t pushy. She actually gets me. For the first time in 10 years, I feel seen and heard. I feel empowered with Alyssa in my corner.
