About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon with over 10 years of experience working as a counselor with children, adults, and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, parenting stressors, and relationship issues. I have also worked with individuals struggling with chronic medical conditions including pain, diabetes, dementia, and cardiovascular disease. As a veteran and the spouse of a veteran, I have a special place in my heart for working with veterans and their families and I also have the experience in doing so.

I would describe my counseling style as supportive, empathetic, open, and solution focused. I tend to focus on helping clients through the here and now, while the past does contribute to who we are we do not have to dissect every part of your childhood in order to help you fully function well in life today, unless you want to. I also have additional training in nutrition based mental health and would love to help you with that as well.

I know that asking for help is difficult, I promise to meet you where you are and walk with you through the process of healing
