Amanda Kviz, LMSW
About me
Welcome!
My name is Amanda Kviz, and I would love to walk with you on your self-improvement journey. I have been a therapist for the past seven years, working in community mental health, crisis centers, hospitals, schools and non-profit agencies. I have worked in both rural and inner city settings. My goal is to create a non-judgmental environment, where we can build trust in each other to work towards your goals. I graduated with a psychology degree from Michigan State University, and a masters in social work from Grand Valley State University. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-image issues, PTSD, relationship and family issues, grief, self-esteem, trauma/abuse and addiction. Therapy is a wonderful opportunity to openly discuss and process the issues that are impacting our lives, with an open-minded person who can offer advice, a new perspective, and support. Sometimes facing our past and insecurities can be challenging, but it can be a life changing experience.
I look forward to working with you, and helping you to reach your full potential, recognize your inner strength, and empowering you to make positive changes in your life.

Amanda helped me so much. Even if it was just talking through my trauma and finding coping skills that work for me. Highly recommend

Amanda is someone who met me where I am at and didn't try to force their own opinion on me. She listens deeply, reflects on important thoughts, and helps keep me focused as I am working through my concerns. I actually feel like I am going to make positive life changes and achieve my therapeutic goals with her as my guide.
