About Me
Welcome! I am Amanda, a licensed therapist, more specifically a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My bachelors degree is in Child Development with an emphasis in social work from HSU, and my Masters degree from USC is in Social Work with an emphasis in Children and Families. I’ve spend the last 13 years as a social worker counseling for depression, anxiety, grief and loss as well as more general life stressors such as diagnosis of a disease or major medical conditions, life changes such as moving, graduating from school, job loss or divorce. I have experience as a Medical Social Worker, in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. I have worked in hospice, home health, child welfare, foster care and working with foster parents.
I believe you are the expert in your life, I believe in building a safe place to share fears, struggles, stressors and achievements. My work is strength-based, validating, and collaborative; meaning we will work together to achieve your goals and I will cheer you on towards success. I look forward to meeting you, and am honored to be chosen to be a part of your journey!

She is caring and supportive and understanding. She helped get me where I want to be, and quite possibly saved my life. I will appreciate her forever.
Amanda is great in making me feel heard and shining light and validity to my feelings. She’s great at exploring ideas in helping me manage and cope with my daily struggles and stressors.
Very supportive and helpful.
Amanda is a great therapist and gives very helpful advice as well as listening and supporting me. I’m very grateful to have her and it’s easy to chat online when I need to.
Amanda is very thoughtful and supportive. She has good ideas and makes you feel very comfortable opening up to her. If you’re too busy to go to a counselor, she does a great job.
