Amanda Poeschel

About Me

I have been a licensed clinical social worker working primarily in the acute medical setting for the past ten years. In my experiences through my career, I have witnessed everything from the tremendous impact of receiving a poor diagnosis, to changes in independence when becoming a caregiver and even the great loss of losing a loved one, to name a few. Mental health is so greatly impacted by our circumstances and often these are uncontrolled, unexpected, surprising and life altering. Whether it's being a first time mom and feeling isolated and scared, being a caregiver to an ill family member, life changes that are causing concern and worry, or navigating a new reality of living with grief; we all need time to process new thoughts, feelings and emotions. I have vast experience in navigating these feelings and hope to create a safe and judgment free zone in which you can do the same. I have an upfront, conversational approach, rooted in problem solving and hope to equip you with the skills to conquer any area that is negatively effecting your day to day. I look forward to hearing your story and helping you be the version of yourself that cultivates joy and peace and looks towards the future with hope and promise.

She has been instrumental in helping me through the grieving process of my father. When things come up outside of video appointment, I message her and she responses in a timely matter. I am so blessed to have found her.
