My name is Amanda and I am a Licensed Therapist in the state of Oklahoma. I believe in working with clients to help empower them to find the best version of themselves. I understand that it is important to find a therapist who can provide a space where there is no judgement and clients are able to open up freely in session. I have spent the last 3 years working with clients in a community mental health center. I have been able to help my clients with the following issues: depression, anxiety, trauma, gender dysphoria, self-esteem, addiction, anger management, relationship issues, and communication issues.
My counseling style is open, compassionate and client centered. I pride myself on being able to offer a non-judgmental approach to therapy. I am also LBQTA2+ affirming. I am a firm believer that everyone should have the opportunity to live a full and happy life just as they are.
The fact that you are even looking into therapy says a lot about you. I know that it takes a lot to make that step and I look forward to getting to work with you on setting goals and helping to achieve those goals. I can interact with you through video, live chat and phone. Video sessions can be helpful as we begin our journey together and as we get to know one another. I am also available through messaging as well. I work mostly weeknights and weekends, but I check my messages periodically through the week so feel free to message me anytime.
