Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amanda Wells. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Amanda is down to earth and welcoming. I find it easy to open up to her. She finds resources to help me implement our treatment plans in real life situations.
Amanda has really helped me over the past few months. She pushed me to get even more help outside of better help, which has made my anxiety and depression manageable. I never thought I would get to this point and I’ve so happy
Amanda has had a truly tremendous impact on my life in the most positive way. Every session helped me- week by week I could feel myself healing, and in the span of six months I feel as though I have become the best version of myself so far. Her techniques helped me realize how important and valuable I was, and I believe that I have made great strides in recognizing my self worth and motivating myself to take control of my life. She is supportive, encouraging, and very dependable- I highly recommend.
Amanda has been an invaluable resource to me in the three months that I have been seeing her. She listens and offers genuine advice that I can apply in real life. I never feel judged and she truly empathizes with me, which I really appreciate. She has been tremendous and I wish I would have signed up sooner!
I've only seen Amanda a few times so far, but already it feels as if she knows me better than my past therapists have known me and that she's getting me to think about things in ways I haven't before. It finally feels like I've found a therapist that fits me and I didn't realize what I was missing for so long!
Amanda always makes sure I have something to take away from my sessions. That is extremely appreciated and helpful as I continue to progress my therapy journey.
Amanda is truly professional, she responds in a timely manner, and has a great way of guiding my thoughts throughout the sessions!
Amanda has helped me so much in the past year. I love being able to write her in the forum when I need it. She always responds quickly, and is there to talk. I really appreciate everything she has done for me so far.
Amanda is amazing. I really appreciate the time she took to get to know me, my history, and the issues I most wanted to work on. She really took me as I was and went above and beyond. She’s very professional and skilled while also feeling very easy-going and listens well. She is a calming person to talk to. I would unhesitatingly recommend her to anyone else.
Amanda has been exceptional. I would recommend her to anyone.
Amanda Wells is a very intelligent, compassionate and competent counselor, who has been helping me immensely in the short time I have been talking to her. I am grateful to have been matched with her, I was starting to give up hope anyone could help me, so she's really been very helpful.
Amanda Wells is an amazing therapist! I feel heard and understood in every session. She has been very receptive to changes in my life and adjusting our therapy plan accordingly. She has shown me ways to change my outlook without discounting my feelings. I highly recommend Amanda Wells.
Amanda has stabilized my mental health and given me important coping strategies for each life event or impactful current event.
Amanda makes you feel loved and supported. She will do her homework to figure out the best way to help you. So happy I found her!
She is so good at listening to your concerns and addressing ways to solve them best suited for you!
She is so encouraging and respectful. She challenges me to see different perspectives on things happening in my life without forcing me to do anything I’m not ready for. She feels like a friend, a friend I know I can count on, all while remaining a professional and respecting personal boundaries. I’m so thankful for her!
Amands has my needs and concerns down and understands what I am looking to accomplish
Amanda is amazing at listening and suggesting ways to help with coping. She really cares and helps to the best of her abilities.
I have had counseling with Amanda for almost a month and a half now and I feel extremely lucky to have her as my counselor/therapist. BetterHelp really paired me with someone that fit me well. The progress takes time, but there has already been progress made and I can see the path of progress that will continue into the future. Amanda does not waste your time, she cares, has a lot of valuable knowledge, and gives you exercises to do in between that further your progress. I can not recommend her enough.
She is the best therapist I've worked with. She listens and doesn't judge me for my bad days
Amanda and I have worked very well together. She actively listens to me, solicits my input when needed and carefully considers options for me to try. I'm very comfortable talking to her. She's very professional, but has a kind heart. I feel like she genuinely cares about me and helping me improve.
Amanda is great. She is never pushy and always asks me what I want to talk about to start our sessions and we go from there. She was my third counselor on this site due to me not meshing with the first two. Amanda has helped me gain great tools in managing my moods and was the reason I found out that I was Bipolar. She is very easy to work with and calming.
It’s a bit early on in our sessions, but Amanda is very kind, good listener and definitely knows what she is talking about and how to respond. Very calming personality.
