About me

I am a compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable, insightful, and hope filled therapist.

You are a unique individual. And you have been shaped by your experiences, your family, your friends, plus your environments (I.e. work, home, school, church, hobbies, volunteer opportunities, etc.). I hope to provide a space where you feel safe and comfortable with sharing your joys, your pains, and your desires for your life. It takes courage to ask for help. Fortunately, that first step also places you in a position to begin to find balance.

Over the past thirteen years, I have worked with women (i.e. ages 18 yrs to 55 yrs old) whom have struggled with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, stress, low self esteem, challenging intimate relationships, and challenging family relationships. Many women have stated - that through counseling with me, they finally felt heard, they finally felt understood, and they finally felt validated. As we take this journey together, I will provide a listening ear and clinical tool set trained to draw out your strengths, your weaknesses, and those things that make you authentic. I will seek to honor your past, while also providing support and encouragement for the person you hope to become. So, let's get started.

By far, best councilor I’ve ever had. Bert help is convenient as I’m always busy and can’t meet in person. Being able to enter journals and share them helps me not forget topics to bring up. She is super supportive in helping talk through my struggles and anxiety.

Amber is a wonderful counselor. I’ve been seeing her for about two months now. She’s a great listener and always provides useful tools for things we discuss. I highly recommend her!

Amber is the best counselor I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. I have made so much progress. Every session I have realizations that help me accept and understand my experience. My goal was to put perspective on my experiences, and I gain more of that every session.

I am very glad I was matched with Amber for my first experience with counseling. She is really easy to talk to and the way she guides the conversation has been very helpful for me to organize my thoughts.
