Amber Martinez, LCSW
About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. I work with individuals navigating depression, self-injurious behaviors, anxiety, ADHD, and eating disorders, which can often lead to feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in unhelpful patterns. My therapeutic style is eclectic and integrative, drawing from evidence-based approaches while also honoring the importance of psychodynamic work—exploring how past experiences shape current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe that insight, when paired with the right tools, creates real, lasting change.
In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on building a trusting relationship, identifying your goals, and developing a plan to move forward together. I’m passionate about this work because I believe in each person’s ability to heal and grow. It’s a privilege to support clients in building self-awareness and creating a more balanced, fulfilling life.
