About me

Mental health and wellness have always been a passion of mine. To foster that passion I completed my Masters in Social Worker from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with an emphasis on mental health. I am licensed in the state of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and have worked in the field of mental health for the past 5 years. I have had the privilege of providing therapy to individuals ,and families – adolescents and adults struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, family conflict and attachment, relationship issues, and life transitions. In addition, I have experience in crisis risk assessment, suicide ideation, training coping skills, and providing psycho-education.

I have experience providing therapeutic services to individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds in urban settings. This has included coordinating mental health services to young children and their families Most recently, I have been assessing suicide risk in a hospital emergency department.
My goal in therapy is to better understand the needs, wants, and goals of my clients. Providing a safe, nurturing and non judgment place for my clients to dive deep into the life they have envisioned from themselves, My goal in therapy is walk alongside my clients on their journey of self awareness and discovery.
