I have spent 12 years learning about the human brain and mind. I had my bachelor degree in psychology from Columbia College of Missouri, my master of counseling psychology from Adler University in Chicago, and my doctorate in clinical psychology from California Southern University. I was trained extensively in various treatment approaches such as Psychoanalytic (Jungian & Adlerian), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Attachment, Client-Centered/Existentialism and others. I have been working in the helping profession field since 2010 at several settings and have learned to focus on what you personally struggle with and need to change. I believe treating you as a whole person not just focusing on the disorder is essential to positive change and finding a meaning. There are much more to us than having a disorder. Therefore, I listen to you and know you well in order to tailor the treatment plan that fits you and your most important needs the most. Our end goal is helping you finding your purpose in life, which critical to success.
Fighting addiction, depression/anxiety and PTSD is not an easy task. I work with clients who struggle with one or more of these symptoms. Applying evidence-based approaches, changing clients faulty assumptions, and finding HOPE are the keys to a successful outcome, while placing emphasis on culture and ethnicity. "It is not one size fits all."
Empathy, genuine acceptance, understanding are essential characteristics for the therapist to have, and sometimes that is all you need. Many people are looking for a magic pill. Change and growth require serious work on yourself with a therapist who truly cares about your wellbeing and willing to listen attentively to you. Growth is only attained outside of your comfort zone. Change is the only constant aspect in our lives.

Objective, reasonable, knowledgeable and thought provoking.
Dr. Kireem listened to me carefully and helped me knowing myself much better, I’ve had only 2 sessions so far but I feel he understands so well. I am sure after more sessions I’ll get much better with Dr. Kireem’s help. It’s amazing to have a psychologist like Dr. Kireem who has very advanced education, experience and at the same time has knowledge of other languages and cultures.
Dr. Kireem is kind intelligent and compassionate. He is able to use different tools with different situations. I have trust that I am working with a professional therapist.
I am very glad and grateful for Dr. Kireem I had just two sessions with him but l touched a lot of changes in my life, now I have that strength and comfort to continue.

Dr. Kireem does a great job staying on task and asking hard questions
Doctor Kireem, helped me a lot identifying issues related to my conditions and also helped me to coup up with situations when needed. I appreciate the way he approaches issues.
Dr. Kireem is very responsive to texts. He is always available to help and gives sound advice. Very personable. Highly recommended!
He is really good at directing the conversation, and I like how he understands my issues, and encouraging me to be better and feel better
Amr is a spiritual surgeon. He approaches his sessions with a profound sense of empathy and truly listens with intent, both of which were critical factors for me in choosing a therapist. You'd be surprised how hard it is to come across a counselor who's NOT overly prescriptive in the beginning and knows how to just listen. He's also been an invaluable resource in helping me identifying blindspots, kneading out negative self-narratives, and overall "connecting the dots." There hasn't been a session where I haven't walked away with an enduring sense of validation, and more importantly, insight. Highly recommended.
dr kireem is excellent
I think Dr. Kireem has been amazing. He’s been attentive. He’s always available and his schedule accommodates a wide range of hours, which is wonderful for someone without a set work schedule.
Very understanding and easy to talk to and very responsive in messages if you asked a question. He break down the issue to see it from wider angle and open your mind.
Dr Kireem is a helpful and understanding professional, plus its to speak out without barriers
Dr. Kareem is amazing
I already recommended the app and the doctor to several friends
I have had 3 sessions so far with Dr. kireem, and they've been very helpful in starting to explore some issues I'm dealing with. Also he reached out via messages every now and then to check up which is very good. I'm looking forward to continue working with him most certainly!
I am impressed with his knowledge of my situation
