Hello and Welcome,
Asking for help is never easy, but you are have made the first crucial step towards improving your life- congratulations!
I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida with over 5 years experience. I have worked with clients experiencing a variety of life challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, academic challenges and learning disorders, anger management, and ADHD. I also have experience and training working with clients who have experienced a traumatic event.
My goal as your counselor is to walk alongside you in your journey and provide encouragement and praise, as well as motivation for those times when you are facing self-doubt or fear. I work hard to create an environment where the client feels comfortable being their true, authentic self. My approach to counseling is based on cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive behavioral, and solution focused therapies. However, I believe that each client is truly unique and will not necessarily fit into one of these models. Therefore, I use an integrated approach with these and other counseling theories to provide a truly individualized treatment plan. I enjoy using concrete, easily applicable tools and strategies that you can incorporate into your daily life as you progress towards achieving your goals.
It would be an honor to join you on your journey towards change.

Amy Claude is a very good therapist. I strongly recommend her guidance.

Amy Claude's great. Friendly, upbeat, seems very much like she'd be a swell person, were I ever to meet her in real life. Pretty prompt about responding to messages I left her, seldom ever took her more than a few hours to get back to me. Polite, tactful, never once said anything that could even be remotely misconstrued as improper. Referred me to all sorts of resources for further information. Seems like an all-around swell lady. Let's give her a thumbs up.
The guidance and support that Amy provides is invaluable, and has had a significant impact on me.
Amy is very relatable and flexible with her time. You can tell that she cares about her patients and actually wants to help in any way possible. She’s very sweet and down to earth.
I feel so comfortable and at ease talking with Amy! She is understanding, kind, and provides me with so many great tools to use in my everyday life. I look forward to our sessions every week.

Amy is great! She is attentive, helpful and a voice of reason. I really enjoy working with her.
She has been awesome so far.
I've only worked with Amy for a couple weeks, but she has already helped me a lot. I'm learning new coping mechanisms for my anxiety, and it's great to have someone who can chat with you, every day if you need it.
Amy is very relatable and easy to talk to! She listens to my concerns and gives me several ways of looking at things. I look forward to continuing to working with her.
Thank you Amy!
Amy is such a kind hearted and supportive counselor! I am so happy I got matched with her and I am able to have her biased opinion on anything we talk about! She is a great person and so understanding.
She the best
Amy has been instrumental in helping me both understand and cope with my anxiety. She asks poignant questions to help me make the associations with causality and provides an assortment of tools and mechanisms that have been invaluable to help me deal with panic attacks. I admit I was a bit of a skeptic at first, but Amy has been a coach and confidant and the results I am seeing have abated any doubts.
I’m glad I started this journey. As much as my comfort zone is telling me to stop, I know that’s why I need to keep pushing. I want to be better and I'm so glad that I have Amy to help me with it. My husband has even noticed how good this has been for me and constantly sharing how great it is.
