About Me

We all have a story. Our stories make us who we are. Life is a tapestry of your story, my story,
and the stories of the world. Your story is beautiful and unique. It shows how you got to where you are, your strengths, your weaknesses and what you have endured. I want to help you grow your story. I see my job as to encourage you, walk alongside you and assist you as grow on the journey of your life story. I take my job seriously as it is an honor to be invited into someone's life story to grow them in whatever way they need.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) providing high-quality, effective, evidence-based
treatment with children, adolescents, and adults, couples, and families.
Together let us grow your story for you and all the stories you will be a part of in life.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Adlerian therapy. I have received specialized training in cognitive-behavior therapy and trauma therapy from recognized experts in these areas. I am a person-centered therapist, with my core values being empathy, genuineness, and non-judgment.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amy Cole. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Written by D.E. on May 12, 2022 after therapy with Amy for 2 weeks on issues concerning trauma and abuse

Amy is kind, responsive, caring and asks questions that elicit deeper from responses and insight than I would ask on my own. She has guided me through struggles I didn’t think I could face, and continues to do so at every session. I feel incredibly blessed to have her in my life.
