About me

Choosing counseling can be a monumental step in life's journey. I consider it a privilege to come along side you as you are seeking insight, growth and change. I enjoy working with women and couples via online therapy. I find that online therapy is effective and much more easily accessible to many clients. The pace is slower, but consistent and that is helpful in many ways. My approach to counseling involves consideration of you as a whole person, your mind, your body and your spirit. I utilize several counseling theories - Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Emotion-Focused and others as needed. Mostly though, I focus on meeting you where you are and without judgment so that you experience the support and growth you desire.

Amy is fabulous!!
She is a great listener, courteous, respectful!
Better help needs to get better with platform!! Dropped calls continuously, no one to call where there is an issue with logging in., which made me miss my scheduled call.

Working with Amy has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. With her I don’t feel like another client, I feel seen and known and heard. She has pushed me to be better and challenged me to explore myself and my motivations more fully. She has helped me improve myself and my relationships with others.

Amy has been fantastic throughout our time together. She listened carefully to my concerns and my goals and thoughtfully responded to what I was going through. She brought both spiritual wisdom and psychological expertise. I'm genuinely grateful that I was paired with her. I have made a lot of progress in a short time.

Amy has been terrific, but unfortunately I just don’t have the time (or am not willing to dedicate the time) to counseling right now, so I’m quitting BetterHelp for the time being. But Amy has been incredible and extremely caring about everything I’m going through. I definitely feel like my anxiety has improved since meeting with her over the last 3 months!

Amy has been great. She is easy to talk to and shows lots of compassion for my frustrations. She is relatable and very helpful in finding ways to provide tools that I can use to help myself. I will definitely use her in the future as well.
