About me

Hello and I am glad you found me!

I have been a counselor for 26 years and I have learned a lot about relationships, conflict, emotional distress, and trauma. I assess the whole person taking into account your unique experiences, your story, and your longings and needs. I also take into account what you find meaningful in your life and help you to realistically obtain your goals. We will work together to see where the problem areas are and develop an effective plan to create a life that is more enjoyable to you and to help you feel more at peace with yourself.

I also know the challenges it takes to manage relationships so we will also consider giving you new tools and skills to get along well with the people in your life. I will accept you where you are and work with you at a pace that is comfortable. Everyone needs somebody to share difficulties with and I can help support you with this and help you move passed these difficulties and on to a better and more satisfying life.

I use mindfulness practices to help you with being more grounded and living in the present. I will coach you in other areas of needed growth and if there is trauma, I can help you resolve and move past wounds that may be at the root of your current problems.

Let me be a part of your healing and growth and we can celebrate this growth, and what amazing things can come from it, together.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amy Gallimore. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I have had 3 sessions with Amy. I have found her to be kind, empathetic and a great listener. She is helping me to think about things from a different perspective and is giving me some solid tools for moving forward. The brain spotting technique she uses assisted to unearth some difficult concerns of mine that needed attention. I am grateful for her perspective, her compassion and her desire to help me move forward. Thank you Amy. :)
