About me
I believe it takes brains, courage, and heart to reach out when you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Let me applaud your bravery in taking the first step to feeling better. I have over 30 years of experience in the field of providing Mental Health services and over 10 years of providing psychotherapy in a group practice. Hunter College School of Social Work was where I received my graduate degree, many years ago. My treatment approaches tend to be eclectic, but I use humanistic and psycho dynamic approaches, as well as cognitive behavioral techniques. Over the years, I've worked with individuals with various issues such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, parenting problems, young adult issues, relationship problems and aging concerns. I try to use humor in my work, whenever possible. However, I am very serious when it involves treating people with respect, compassion, and kindness. I offer a warm, open, and non-judgmental space, so you can feel comfortable to explore in a safe place.
I hope to hear from you soon.
