About Me

I am excited to begin your counseling journey with you. Seeking therapy can be a difficult step, and my goal is to make that step as easy as possible. I collaborate with my clients to find what works in therapy, and what does not work. My hope is that together we can create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel understood and supported. A place where you will feel capable of sharing your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
My goal is to work with you to make sure that your goals for therapy are met, and I will adapt different treatment methods to meet your individual needs. Integrating a variety of treatment models such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strength based techniques. My therapeutic approach is open and nonjudgmental. I work with adults in regards to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, troubled relationships, grief, personal growth, and addiction.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and Nevada. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University in 2004. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health from Hofstra University in 2002.
I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals.
